Control method
The system can realize manual and automatic control modes

Manual mode: The operator inputs the set flow rate of the feeder through the touch screen, and adjusts the feeding amount by observing changes in the thickness of the mold powder. When the pulling speed increases, the consumption increases, and the output of the powder feeder can be increased by selecting an appropriate flow value. The manual mode is mainly used for unsteady casting conditions. The operator can adjust the feeding amount of the feeding system at any time according to the changing consumption of mold powder at any time.

Automatic mode: When the system switches to automatic mode, the PLC collects information from the continuous casting control system (4---20mA analog), automatically calculates the set powder layer thickness to maintain stable feeding, and controls the loop, replacing manual powder addition. Keep the mold powder in a reasonable powder layer structure.
